Logo Design

5 Best Examples of Product Guidelines

It reflects your vision and conveys the style of the business you started.

1 Create an unforgettable design.

A good way to keep your product in the viewer's mind is to do something different. The Iron Duck logo does just that with shovels. The clothing line includes a duck image on the scale of the garment, both representing what they are selling (clothing) and their name (real metal duck).

2 Use a picture that evokes your theme.

Words have certain meanings, or organizations that we give them in addition to certain meanings. Images can be descriptive as well, especially with a painted style. Contemplating such details can help you to create a more effective logo. The Data Berry logo is a good example of this: This small image is designed to express ideas related to technology and technology at the same time.

3 Create a picture inside a picture.

If you want to make your logo stand out a bit, try an image that creates two different images. The Shoot My Dog logo, for example, is a photographer, but position and style choices make a person look like a dog. Make sure your “double” image matches your product or theme, and start experimenting.

4 Indicate the purpose of your product.

Giving a summary of what you do is a great way to use a logo. The mobilizers clearly show this: They have a hand in picking up the house, which clearly shows how they help people move homes.

5 Add your product to your text.

Like the above, try to add your product to the logo in interesting ways.  Try playing with fonts and see which pictures you can create with text.

Many logos, even those of large and successful companies, fail to be remembered because they cannot be easily combined with a single concept. Sometimes it is because they are too complex, and sometimes because they are not very clear. Great memories often reside somewhere between the extremes.

The real take on this list is Apple's - but here, the brand name itself has a helpful cut across what the company actually does. As for the mermaid, the gold arches, and the swoosh, their power is that they are most memorable, not that they literally represent what the product has to offer.

Time is the hardest test. Large logos are able to withstand economic storms and offer a focus on ownership, authority, and stability in difficult times.

TIPS

All the logos on this list have been in use for decades. Looking at the above points - simplicity, memory, subtraction - is often a way to find something that is timeless.

You want your logo to reflect the personality of your product. To do that, you first need to understand the core personality of your product.

  1. Wow, cool post. I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real hard work to make a great article... but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though. Creative website design
